511 Tactical Taclite boot review by Justin: Awesome boots, I could run a few miles in them without any transition. They hold weight very well and I would recommend them to anyone deploying or just trying to get into tactical movement / ruck sack marching. I wouldn’t take these on a backpacking trip as they are definitely not made for that. I do however like the 5.11 Taclite 6 Inches Boot in military uniform around my work center.
511 Tactical Taclite boot review by Alex: I’m a huge fan of Danner combat boots but after working and wearing them 16+ hrs of the day my feet kill me. So I figured I would try out the 5.11 boots, and so far I have been pretty impressed with them. I work 16+ hr shifts sometimes with my job doing EMS, search ,and rescue operations in the California desert. I have found the 5.11 Taclite 6 Inches Boot to be pretty durable and extremely comfortable. So comfortable it feels like I’m wearing tennis shoes and forget that I have boots on. Oh and lets not forget the low price compared to other similar combat boots!
