Eberlestock HalfTrack backPack review:
This is a great backpack that I used during a year long deployment to Afghanistan and put it to the test from climbing rugged mountains to exposing it to the elements. This is a perfect pack if you plan on being out for 72 hours or less.
The front loading capability allows you to access items in the main compartment without having to remove everything or spend a long amount of time searching for it. The Eberlestock HalfTrack Military Pack can hold over 75lbs worth of equipment to carry everything from water, food, clothing, ammo, mortar rounds, etc.
The way it was designed makes carrying it more comfortable than the average pack. More than once I had to use the rain cover and it worked great to keep my gear as dry as possible. There is nothing better than being able to sleep in a warm dry sleeping bag. This is undoubtedly the best 72 hour assault pack I have used and it is evident it was designed for the warfighter.

I had been checking this pack out for over a year and finally pulled the trigger to pick it up. I took it out in the local park a few times to work out all the kinks and loaded it up with a ton of camping gear. The Eberlestock HalfTrack Military Pack
has tons of pockets, pouches, inside organizers, etc. The all around quality looked to be good so I loaded it up with roughly 50 pounds and tried it on. I was blown away.
The fit was perfect and there are so many adjustments I would guess that almost anyone can find comfortable settings for their body type. I really could not believe how well the weight was distributed and comfortable the pack was. Within 15 minutes of getting it out of the box, I was repacking all supplies and making this my primary pack. I would highly recommend this pack.
