Jake Robert What are your thoughts on overtraining and how to stay away from it? Im trying to prepare myself for BUD/S and Kokoro but I feel like I have stepped into the realm of overtraining. Do you believe that going into BUD/S slightly undertrained and completely injury free is an okay thing?
Tyler Hager I really dig that Shortcard #1 workout because I can get it done quick in the morning when I am running late. Is that part of a series, like are there more?

SEAL grinder PT A question is… what are more style of workouts like the short card workout would you like to see? More swimming, recovery, hard style bodyweight? post up what you want to see more of.
SEAL grinder PT Jake Bax that is a good question. I would rather be at 98% – so 2% undertrained – than overtrained and burned out and injured. If you feel like your overtraining then that is a good sign your body is telling you to rest more and then get back and hit it hard with a fresh body and mind.
Tyler Hager Does the Seal Grinder workout DVD really require no equipment? I am thinking about getting it for my parents. They have a Crossfit base already, but have to travel for work and often wind up in apartments.
SEAL grinder PT Yes; the DVD is now an instant online download and no gear required. This is same workouts we did at BUD/S and same ones I did on the Navy ship overseas — so little to no room required to workout…..If you buy a copy I will throw in a free audio. Thanks in advance.

SEAL grinder PT Jake Bax – good question “How beneficial do you believe your “greens drink supplement” is, any change in immune system and energy feel?” I use Athletic Greens as a supplement as I don’t get enough green veggies in my diet during the week. I think there are a great supplement and one of the few I use.
SEAL grinder PT Todd Silavent question “Brad I’m getting ready for a Spartan Race next month so burpees are part of my daily workouts. Do advise doing them as fast as possible or slow breaking down each movement.” I would not go as fast as possible due to lactic acid building up and you have a long race with Spartan. I would even keel and methodical and knock them out at a good steady pace.
