Review from Graham MacKenzie:
I am a big fan of Topo Athlete Terraventure 3 trail running shoes. Plenty of room for the toes and minimal heel to toe drop. There are several other Topos I like that are more minimal that I use up to 10 miles. Lots of my trail running friends like the Altras, but they don’t fit right for me for some reason.

I like the grip these shoes have on the ground. I’ll check the type I get. It’s an all terrain sneaker. I believe Salomon are popular but I didn’t like the grip on the ground.

Austin Boyd (SGPT Athlete) My favorite trail running shoe so far is the Hoka Speedgoat.
Pierre Descoteaux likes the Hoka Speedgoat 5. They are great!
Danielle Faith Gordon: Everyone has different shapes, gaits, pressure, running styles, etc…. If the shape of Oboz fit well Altra or Hoka will be a great fit.
Altra wears very quickly, and very minimal. If your not used to the minimal life on your feet, slowly ease into it. I love my Hoka. I’ve tried a few styles and the speedgoats wide work best for me. Within my ultra-trail running crew the speedgoat & challengers are the most popular. Go through REI and you can try and return until you get the brand/model that works for you!
