    I am currently experimenting with a couple of stone/sand bag hybrids.
    What I have done is purchased (3) 50# bags of sand and (2) rolls of high strength black duct tape from my local builders supply store. I then stacked one bag on top of another and started wrapping them tightly in tape following a basket weave pattern until the entire thing was completely & securely wrapped. I repeated the process on the 50# bag. What I ended up with is a 50# and a 100# semi pliable/semi hard highly durable, organic, real world applicable and CHEAP pieces of exercise equipment.

    I call the 100# one “BURT” for Big Ugly Round Thing. They work great for cleans, thrusters, OHS, walking lunges, etc..

    I did this workout on my birthday with a stone in my back yard. Just a consistent pace. Not fast not slow.

    6 rounds.
    10 stone cleans
    20yard trot with stone
    15 burpees
    20 yard trot with stone.
