TIP #1:
dpms-oracleDecide if you want to go out and plink at the range or do you want to learn more tactical shooting?

Will your weapon be for varmint hunting out of your truck?

Or will you be using it for home defense? All of these decisions will change your weapon dramatically.

So deciding that first will save you a lot of time and headache.

You can pick up a DPMS Oracle for a little over $500 online so you can get started for a low cost.

Rifle Ammo in Stock

TIP #2
It is probably a good idea to get Magpul MBUS Front & Rear Flip Up Sights on your rifle and also add a good red dot.

If you want to plink at the range and shoot varmints – you can pick one up for $100 and you can thank me later.

If you want to get all serious and act like a bad @ss on AR-15.com forums you can add an ACOG or Aimpoint and everyone will ooh and ahh over your weapon.

The main thing is that you know how to use it in any situation at any time.

Question: What about the DPMS bull barrel?
That is a 20 or 24 inch longer barrel that would be great if you want to do long range shooting and killing varmints.

Question: How can I find out more about gun safety and protecting my second amendment rights? Check out the NRA website here: https://home.nra.org
