Colt AR-15 Review by Snake
Owned several AR15′s over the past 12 years or so. Some, like this Colt AR-15 have built with kits or with extra accumulated parts plus parts purchased for a particular project. With other AR-15’s they were purchased whole, but most have been modified to some degree while owned. Many AR-15 shooters can relate with modifying and ‘improving’ firearms, especially the AR-15 platform.
This Colt AR15 was built with the standard issue 20″ A3 in mind, what most of us grew up thinking of as ‘Army guns”. I know, those were probably A1′s and A2′s with fixed carry handles, but the rifle before the dinky 14.5″ barreled M4 became the standard is what I had in mind. Anyway this would have to be considered a ‘Parts Gun’, but this review is as much about the rifle as it is about the recent experience I had with it!

Sabre Defense AR-15
Sabre Defense AR-15 Review by FDX
Sabre makes a good rifle, although that TAPCO stock is pretty much the bottom of acceptable. Rounds loaded to NATO specs (5.56) have higher pressure than .223 Rem, and the chamber has more lead than a .223. You can safely shoot .223 from a 5.56 chamber, but shooting 5.56 in a .223 can cause problems like blown primers and other excessive pressure problems.

Bushmaster AR-15 review by Fanatic
This was probably the best rifle that i have shot. it works soundly and is easy to take apart and put together. blasted through 250 rounds in less than 30 minutes. the 30 round magazine is the only way to go with this weapon. Great gun over all and red dot for this rifle is great. Have fun out there. Top AR-15 Rifles for 2011

About the AR-15
The AR-15 is a lightweight, 5.56 mm, magazine-fed, semi-automatic rifle, with a rotating-lock bolt, actuated by direct impingement gas operation or long/short stroke piston operation. It is manufactured with the extensive use of aluminum alloys and synthetic materials.
The AR-15 was first built by ArmaLite as a selective fire assault rifle for the United States armed forces. Because of financial problems, ArmaLite sold the AR-15 design to Colt. The select-fire AR-15 entered the US military system as the M16 rifle. Colt then marketed the Colt AR-15 as a semi-automatic version of the M16 rifle for civilian sales in 1963. The name “AR-15” is a Colt registered trademark, which refers only to the semi-automatic rifle.
