3 Tips to Improve Your Day

Hope everybody is out there kicking ass and taking names.

Are you working towards improving 1% daily?

It is hard to do every day but there are some days that you really crush it.

For today…. make sure you do this.

TIP #1:  Remind yourself in the morning how grateful you are for at least one thing

Start with your health—even if it’s not as good as you want it right now. Keep in mind your health starts with your thoughts. Negative thoughts create stress, stress tears down your energy and low energy destroys your immune system.

State three things you’re grateful for every morning, even if it’s small. Then do it again at night before you go to sleep.

Starting the day with a positive thought can make a big difference. The mindset you have first thing in the morning is what will stay with you for the rest of the day. If you start with negative thoughts you’ll end the day with negative thoughts. This sets the tone for how you’ll wake up in the morning.

Break the cycle.

TIP #2: Eat a well-balanced meal with lots of fresh greens

If you get good nutrition in you, then you’ll have the energy to create the kind of day you want. If you’re eating junk or too little this affects your mental outlook on things because you’re tired. It’s easier to be negative when you’re low on energy.

On days I am not able to eat extra greens I take Athletic Greens supplement to help me.

Food is as important as being positive about your day and yourself. Junk food = junk thoughts. Good/nutritious food = good/nutritious thoughts.

There’s a reason we have the phrase “food for thought”. It doesn’t just mean to think about something and get some kind of understanding. It can also mean what you put into your body is what fuels your thoughts.

You wouldn’t put used or cheap oil or gas into your car, so why would you put crappy fuel into your body? Your brain is your engine. Don’t clog it up with junk food and junk thoughts.

TIP #3: Grab a quick workout to energize your body

military bodyweight workoutStarting your day with movement gets you out of doldrums and negative thinking because it makes you start focusing on what you can do.

Today I am doing a simple workout of 50 pull ups for time. If you can’t do pull ups then do 100 sit-ups or pushups or air squats.Very easy and gets the blood flowing and energizes your mind.

Try that workout and let me know / email me your results.
