Combat Iron Recon Training Shorts + Tshirt Review

Combat Iron Apparel Review #1 (1-23-26) by US Marine and adventure athlete George Shepherd

Combat Iron Apparel is absolutely crushed it with this training combo.

The Recon Pro Men’s Training Shorts are built for real work— lightweight, breathable, and cut perfectly for squats, HIIT, sprints, and long training sessions. The stretch is just right: no restriction, no riding up, and no cheap-feeling material.

The waistband stays locked in without digging, and the pockets hold essentials without bouncing around. These shorts feel like gear made by people who actually train.

The Combat Iron T-Shirt matches the shorts perfectly. It’s soft but durable, cut with an athletic taper, and holds its shape through sweat and heavy movement.

It doesn’t get weighed down during runs or high-intensity sessions, and it still looks sharp outside the gym. The print and stitching are legit quality, not the kind that cracks after a couple washes.

Overall, this setup feels tough, clean, and purpose-built. If you train hard and want gear that moves with you-and looks good doing it.

Notes from 30 days later in February 2026

New Combat Iron Apparel Co. Recon Pro Training Shorts. These shorts hit the sweet spot for serious training. They’re lightweight, durable, and move with you — no bunching or restriction during squats, sprints, or burpees. The fit stays secure without feeling tight, and the material breathes well even when you’re pushing hard. Simple, no-nonsense performance gear that just works. Tough, comfortable, ready for any workout.

Combat Iron is the real deal. My new go to training gear. Highly Recommended 👍🏻 Will order more.

Thank you Combat Iron Team for the opportunity to review your gear.
