MuscleDriver Pendlay Bumper Plates Review
Pendlay bumper plate vs Rogue Hi-Temp Review:
I have a 260lb set of Rogue Hi-Temps and a pair of the Pendlay Econ 45lb plates. I really like both. The main difference that I have noticed is that the Hi-Temps are a little softer (don’t know if that’s the right term) and tend to have a little more bounce to them, which I like. The Pendlay’s seem denser and have less bounce (dead blow) when dropped. I personally like the Hi-Temps a little more as I’m dropping them on my garage floor. But I could easily live with a set of either. The one positive of the Pendlay’s is that they are a little thinner, so you could potentially get more plates on the bar. Not really a factor for me as I don’t think I’ll be going overhead with more than 405lbs anytime soon. Hope this helps. Review by Shane

Pendlay bumper plate vs Rogue Review
Own Rogue bumper plates and love them.
Have used Pendlays (coloured though) and they were great as well.
Above assessments seem pretty accurate.
Deciding factor for us – manufacturing origin.

Pendlay bumper plate vs Hi-Tech Review and Testing by Glenn Pendlay
When they first arrived, I was more than a little curious as to how tough they were, especially compared to the Hi-tech plates. So I loaded a bar with the Pendlay 5kg plate on one side, and the Hi-Tech on the other side. I lifted it above me head, and then literally THREW it down as hard as i could onto a wooden platform, no rubber at all. Bolth plates held up. Next, I added a 25lb plate outside the technique plates. Again, I picked it up, took it over my head, and THREW it down to the wooden platform as hard as i could, and, again, no damage to either plate
