SFH Protein Powder Reviews by PaleoDrummer
It is as “clean” a protein powder as I have seen, from grassfed cows, with no gluten, soy lecithin, evil agents of death, etc. And here is the real kicker besides the absence of negatives: it makes me feel effing fantastic. One (or two) scoops of this about 30 minutes after a workout, and I have just ingested 25 (or 50) grams of muscle-building/repairing protein, and that “wiped out” feeling begins to leave. And then I can prepare a *real* meal full of fat, good carbs and more protein, eat it maybe 30 minutes after the powder, and be full, happy and awesome for hours. I don’t recommend using this as a meal substitute, but, rather, as an ace way of ingesting a heavy volume of protein as fast as possible post-workout. It isn’t replacing anything, just adding in more good stuff. SFH Protein Powder Reviews

My experience of this powder was that it was easy to mix and tasted good. SFH suggests you mix the scoop of powder with 6-8oz of water or milk (soy, dairy, nut, or otherwise). I tried the vanilla flavor and mixed it with water to avoid unneeded calories, and while it would have tasted better with milk, it tasted just fine mixed in water. SFH Recovery protein is also available in chocolate and natural flavors. SFH Protein Powder Reviews

Great Product! I’ve done a lot of research of fish oil and this is bar far the best on the market. With the amount of EPA and DHA you cant beat it. I ordered the vanilla and the taste is ok nothing great, it take a little getting used to but would def recommend this product. SFH Super Omega-3 Fish Oil – 10oz

3fu3L Review by Joe M.
Just wondering if others have tried the new CF (endurance) supplement 3Fu3L.

Mine arrived yesterday, and I took one serving (two scoops) prior to a strength session followed by a short met con (Fran). Here are just some of my thoughts on the product.

Taste: I think some people will have a problem with it. I personally don’t mind the bland taste, bc I am paying for something with little artificial sweetener in it (stevia) but compared to other supplement products out there it is pretty bad.

Mixabilty: it mixed very easily, and did not clump up. It also was not “dusty” like regular waxy maize. If you have ever used the regular kind you probably know what I am talking about.

Consistency: This is where I think the product could have a problem. When two scoops mixed into 1/2 liter of water it turned into a very thick, gravy like substance. It literally reminded me of a more liquid version of KFC type gravy. Now for someone using it in a gym setting it probably really isn’t a problem, you can add more water and thin it out. But if an endurance athlete was using it in a water bottle on a belt or something similar, i think it would be very thick. Or you would have to water it down so much you would be carrying more water than Fuel.

Results: Obviously one use is not going to tell you real performance results. So I will continue to use it and test it over different workouts.

I will say that I do like everything Brian puts out, and I think it is a good product in terms of ingredients. I hope it does well, but i am curious how his endurance athletes are dealing with the consistency issue.

Also as a frame of reference I have tried a lot of pre-workout nutrition protocols over the years using various supplements and whole food sources. All of them have their positives and negatives and at the end of the day they are small pieces to the very large “recovery pie: proper programming, consistent nutrition, rest, soft tissue work, sleep, stress management, mindset etc.”. What I look for in a pre-workout protocol is based on my goals, diet and preferences. I do not believe (nor should anyone else) any of these products are the magic bullet.

Questions from athletes in our gym.

Question: How do you compare bigger faster healthier vs 3fu3l? I think you mean Stronger Faster Healthier SFH vs 3FU3L. They are both very good.

Question: What is a protein similar to Stronger Faster healthier? Probably Progenex is similar.
