Gerber Dime multi-tool review

We just got a new piece of gear to test out – the Gerber Dime. This small multi-tool was instantly put into my go bag and also used as an extra tool on long mountain bike rides. For the price (under $17) the Gerber Dime Multi-Tool really packs a punch. It is very light, fits in your hand and can cut through anything small quickly.

List of gear on the Gerber Dime Multi-Tool:
* flathead screwdriver
* wire cutters
* stainless steel pliers
* fine edge blade
* scissors
* tweezers
* small file
* crosshead driver
* bottle opener (important)

The overall length is 4.25″. The Closed Length is2.75″ and the Weight is 2.2 oz. (super light)

PROS: Very low cost vs what all you can do with it. Having pliers in the tool makes this a big choice over any other small pocket knife.

CONS: This is obviously not your go to survival knife for building shelter and skinning animals. It is a small blade that is used for small task.
