I’m a few weeks in with my Danner boots and I couldn’t be happier. I did a pretty thorough once over before donning my new boots. Not a thread out of place not a blemish to be found. They fit true to size (sigh of relief). I find the laces long enough, I even double knot.

These boots have proven to be waterproof as I live in Florida and it rains alot. I’m on my feet all day everyday and I’ve got happy feet at the end of my day. I work inspections and investigations and knew I’d need a boot to meet the upbeat. Well worth the price. This review is a tad early and I plan to write a full review at 6 months. But if these boots are anything like my first pair of boots by Danner, I’ve got a few good years ahead of me. My first pair I use for hunting and all around travel boots. They still look new.

Bates GX8 Review:

They are so good I just bought a replacement pair. I used the Bates GX8 boot for daily year round field work and occassionally for hunting. I average about 8 miles hiking per week with these boots.

I even used these boots for a long hike in the Shenandoah Valley this past spring. These boots are light, comfortable, very durable and have great grip on the ground.
