I had never heard this saying until much later in life.
When I started Navy SEAL Training/BUDS at 19 years old I was trying to expand my life experiences.
Before that age I had not traveled across the Mississippi river and lived a reserved life.
Going across the country and to try out for a program with an 80% wash out rate was a bold move. But it was one I had to do in order to find out who I was.
Pushing yourself to the next level means exactly what it says. In order to get to that next level you will have to do something that you have never done before. You have to step out of your comfort zone and take control of your life.
Once you learn this concept and apply it with action you can take it to any part of your life to grow yourself.
Today I am driving down the Ocala to start on a 332 mile off road bike race through forest and swamps.
At several points you have to carry your bike through waist deep swamps just to get to the other side and ride again.
It will take several days to finish and not for the faint of heart.
Ask yourself that question today. What are you doing to scare yourself daily.
Are you getting out of your comfort zone at the gym?
Or are you afraid that you will hurt yourself or be embarrassed?
Do you have an upcoming trail race you are training for?
But you do not know where to start?
Or you are going to try out for Army Special Forces?
But confused about all of the training programs out there?
I want to help you get past your fears and overcome obstacles and reach your goals.
Email me now brad@sealgrinderpt.com and let me know one thing that scares you and we will work on a plan to help push your forward.
Train Hard!
