Do One Thing Daily That Scares You

I had never heard this saying until much later in life.

When I went to BUDS at 19 years old this was definitely something that scared the living $hit out of me.

Later on in life I would use the same ideas to climb rock faces in Yosemite and around the world.

Or paddle Class 5 rapids with death sieves that could suck you in and pin you underwater.

Once you learn this concept and apply it with action you can take it to any part of your life to grow yourself.

Today I am driving down the Ocala to start on a 332 mile off road bike race through forest and swamps.

At several points you have to carry your bike and gear through waist deep swamps just to get to the other side and ride again.

It will take several days to finish and not for the faint of heart.

You can read more about it here:

Ask yourself that question today. What are you doing to scare yourself daily.

Are you getting out of your comfort zone at the gym?

Or are you afraid that you will hurt yourself or be embarrassed?

Do you have a gnarly trail race you are training for?

But you dont know where to start?

Or you are going to try out for Army Special Forces?

But confused about all of the training programs out there?

I want to help you get past your fears and overcome obstacles and reach your goals.

Check out the book that I wrote for my son to help him get a head start on his big goal of joining the Navy SEAL teams.

That is his goal that really scares him.

I will be posting updates on the race on The  SGPT Facebook page so check it out

Email me now [email protected] and let me know one thing that scares you and we will work on a plan to help push your forward.

Train Hard!

QUESTION: Coach, what do you like to add to your workout shakes?

ANSWER: I use Athletic Greens in our shakes. It’s got tons of great nutrition—vitamins and minerals. Plus it mixes up easy in milk or water.
