LALO Shadow boot review

By Brad McLeod
Check out the reviews and videos for the new LALO Shadow boot and you decide if it is good enough for your feet.

These boots are designed specifically for military Spec Ops operators to be used in the field.  Nothing has been spared in the design of these boots to give the operator state of the art footwear. These boots could be equated to the pro designed cleats that NFL football players wear.  These are top notch elite footwear for operators.

LALO Shadow boot reviews by Brad McLeod:
I have been wearing these boots for over a month now and put them through a ton of abuse hiking in the forest and swamps. The Lalo Tactical Boots are very light weight and drain water quickly and easily. These are not water resistant and not meant to be.

The sole has a great grip to it and sticks easily to boat docks and slippery decks (a plus in the SEAL’s line of work). The LALO Shadow has just enough cushion to feel what is under you while still reducing impact when moving over hard terrain.

LALO Shadow boot unboxing

These boots are very comfortable and lightweight. Didn’t need breaking in for me.

The whole sole of the Lalo Tactical Shadow Intruder Boots is firm like there’s some sort of plate in it. Ended up loving that feature.

Authentic SEAL co-development paid off on these. Pricey but probably the most solid pair of boots I’ve ever had.

There is footgear for athletes and then there is footgear for Professional Athletes. For centuries the footgear for the military was standard for all enlisted and commissioned members, no matter what their MOS (i.e. Occupation). Yet not every airman, sailor, soldier and Marine demand the same level of quality in their footgear. Now a former Navy Seal is changing this with Lalo Tactical Shadow Intruder Boots. These are the results.
Instead of going into extreme detail here, this article from the sums things up nicely.
(the URL is case sensitive so ensure everything after / is CAPITALIZED)MARSOC does have more information on the footgear offered here and their less expensive lines for those whose life isn’t so dependant on the gear they wear.

I am not affiliated with beyond serving in the services their footgear is targeted. Having experienced the soles of just issued footgear (designed for mountaineering) peel off and dropping away, I dreamed of having the LALO Tactical’s level quality available. I hope one day to be able to purchase a pair to be sent to the teams.

He flunked out of Navy SEAL BUD/S training after making it over half way through (6 months of grueling training). After a year in the Fleet Navy on the USS Cleveland (LPD-7) he came back to graduate BUDS and serve on SEAL Team Four.

His story is simple–Don’t Ever Quit on your Dream! Put one foot in front of the other and fall forward.
