  • Lowa Zephyr boots review
These boots are AWESOME. They are indeed the lightest pair of boots (summer Bates included) I have ever owned.(15 years and counting) I ordered the GTX version for the added water protection and my dogs didn’t really “sweat” in them. The laces provided were flimsy and didn’t last very long. Simple fix..take white “issue” laces-ask your supply and soak them in tea(you have limited resources downrange-those that have been will attest) and these laces still are in the boot to this day (almost a year out of country).

I bought these boots while on deployment and I haven’t been disappointed at all. They have help up in water, mud, snow and on the rocky terrain. I wound up in a puddle of semi-frozen water (up to my laces) and my socks remained dry! I wear them with boarding socks, so you might want to get them a little larger. Your feet will sweat some but it beats having soaked socks and boots. I definitely would buy another pair!

Desert Acadia® 400G Military Boots Review
This boot ROCKS! It fits better, works better, and does everything better than it’s ‘ISSUE” non Danner counterpart(They SUCK!) . The only thing I could ask for would be a bit more protection over the left boot’s lace/stitch area where my Shifter Peg rubs(I ride a Harley). OVERALL PERFORMANCE: 21 Guns

Desert Acadia® 400G Military Boots Review
When we got there the Army guys were about frozen wearing the GI Issue boots. My feet were nice and warm. Even with an average sock on. Danner Acadia is my one & “ONLY” choice for quality footwear.Built to serve, the USA-made Desert Acadia® has a full-grain leather and 1000 Denier nylon exterior for rugged durability. A GORE-TEX® liner provides breathable, waterproof protection. Features a thick, cushioned footbed and a self-cleaning Vibram® Sierra outsole. Danner’s famous stitchdown construction gives the boot a more stable platform underfoot and superior durability. Features 400GThinsulate™ Ultra Insulation.

Both the Lowa Zephyr and Danner Acadia boots are exceptional in their own right, catering to different needs and preferences. If you prioritize lightweight comfort and breathability for warm-weather conditions, the Lowa Zephyr is an excellent choice. On the other hand, if you need a rugged, all-weather boot with superior durability and waterproofing, the Danner Acadia is the top pick. Ultimately, your choice should depend on your specific requirements and the conditions in which you’ll be wearing the boots
