Bushnell Trophy Red Dot TRS-25 3 MOA Red Dot Reticle Riflescope, 1x25mm (Matte) review by D.M:
Optics are one of those things where you really do get what you pay for.
With that in mind, there is no way this Bushnell red dot is going to be comparable to an Aimpoint sight.
In fact, just a few weeks ago, I wouldn’t have even considered buying a red dot like this; but I have been pleasantly surprised with the results and for the money it has been fine.
Bushnell AR Optics 1x MP Illuminated Red/Green T-Dot Reticle Riflescope, 1x32mm review by Ryan:
I searched for many an hour on many an AR-15 forum for the best non-magnifying budget optics for my brand new AR-15 (DPMS Panther Lite 16″).
I saw this mentioned repeatedly as a good sight, so I went ahead and bought it. Simply put, this is the best red-dot style sight I’ve ever used. The dot and “T” are super crisp, the brightess settings are actually noticeable (unlike the NcStar on my AK–still a good sight for the money), and the optics are fully multi-coated and fog-proof. Another bonus with this sight is that it has functional iron sights on top.
Bushnell AR Optics FFP Illuminated BTR-1 BDC Reticle AR-223 Riflescope with Target Turrets and Throw Down PCL, 1-4x 24mm review by Basic:
1. Optical clarity – two gun stores that looked at the scope both remarked how clear and bright the glass was (they’ve looked through a LOT more scopes than I have).
#2. First Focal Plane Reticle – I recently bought my first variable power scope (Nikon P22) only to discover that with a 2nd focal plane reticle, Bullet Drop Compensation marks are darn near useless, as they change values depending on the power selected – with a 1st focal plane reticle as on this scope, BDC values remain constant no matter your power setting.
Bushnell AR Optics Zombie Assault 1x MP Red/Green T-Dot Reticle Riflescope review by ZombieKiller:
Best optic regardless of the price for CQB you can buy. Rugged, bulletproof construction. Dead nuts accurate after setup. The only one I like more is its big brother, the 2X magnification one. This one is awesome at 50 yards, its brother reaches out to 100 yards with ease. The iron sights on top is the icing on the cake.
Combine either one with a good laser and you can turn it off in a low light situation and see the laser through the reticle and have an unparalleled night fighting combo. I have the 2X mounted on a 6.8spc, Rock River lower, Palmetto State upper and bolt carrier set, with a Wilson Combat 16″ Stainless fluted barrel and a Yankee hill full floating quad rail with a Barska laser. A nail driver at 100yds. I have the 1X mounted on a Rock River 6.8spc A4 mid length and it will drive nails at 50 yards and group 3-4 inches at 100 yards.
Bushnell Banner Multi-X Reticle Riflescope with 6″ Eye Relief, 3-9x 40mm review by John K:
I contacted, via email,Bushnell Manufacture and asked them if this particular 3-9×40 scope with the 6 inch eye relief can handle the recoil of a .375 H&H caliber rifle.
They replied by saying that this particular scope was actually built for that and it would have no problem handling the recoil of the .375 H&H and the recoil of a lot of slug guns.
Just make sure you get the one with the 6″ eye relief because Bushnell makes other 3-9 power scopes that have lesser eye relief. Its on my .375 H&H rifle and it works. Thanks for listening, Enjoy
Video – Bushnell 1-4x24mm PCL Throw Down Review
Scope was new and in original box, so no problems ordering from a third party vendor at Amazon.com.
It was also a lot less expensive than at local sporting goods store.
No problems installing and setup, shot tight groups with minor adjustments.
Bushnell Banner Dusk & Dawn Multi-X Reticle Riflescope, 3-9×40 review by A.T: Bushnell scopes have always been a good value. The Banner 3-9×40 has good optical clarity with a large eyepiece that gives a big picture that I like.
This is not the same as saying “wide angle” – it’s like having a larger TV in front of you. Edge to edge sharpness is very good. I am very pleased with this purchase.
