I have always admired the Danner products going back to my days in the Navy and I was issued my first pair. The new Resurgent is a purpose-built boot to help you on stay fresh during long hours of patrol. I think that this is a good looking stylish boot with a durable water repellant (DWR) -coated rough-out leather upper with Perspair material. The panels that promote airflow to keep you cool and comfortable in hot and arid environments.
These lightweight tactical boots feature a Opanka-stitched Vibram. The Resurgent outsole with turf-eating pentagonal lugs that provide unbeatable grip on loose or rocky terrain. Rugged and ready for action, these coyote brown Air Force and Army boots are approved for wear with OCP Uniforms.

DWR stands for “durable water repellent” – which is a thin layer of liquid applied to the outside of technical garments. It is used to repel primarily water, but can also withstand dirt and grease. You can tell the difference between a rain jacket treated with DWR versus one that is not. You can watch the rain drops slide right off of a jacket treated with DWR. The jacket without will get soaked through with water. This is what you dont want. I treat all of my jackets and boots with a DWR repellenat.
