US Navy SEALs Train With Army SOF

Check out this video showing active duty members SEAL Team 1 and Army Special Forces Group 1-1 training together.

A joint operational access exercise, or JOAX, is beneficial for many reasons–two of which are communication and learning how the two forces operate. By practicing beforehand, any confusion or pauses for clarification (which can lead to deadly mistakes during a real-world operation) are eliminated.

Each team or force brings different skills to the mix, thereby strengthening the overall military operation. The US practices joint training with its own military forces, as well as those of its allies, as shown in the second video, showing MARSOC, Navy SEALs and Green Berets night training with Australian Special Operations Forces.
