Danner RAT Temperate Military Boots Review
The first pair of Danners I put on I was impressed with. As much as I was impressed with that first pair over other boots, I am that much impressed with this pair over those. I’ve read reviews where people said “no break in” before, and thought people were exaggerating.
I put my foot in these boots, and I could flex my foot in in direction: forward, backward, right, left and they boot just moved with my foot with no discomfort. I could bend down and flex the toe and the supple leather in both the toe and the back of the boot just flexed perfectly with my movement. These are amazing. I tied them as tight as I would a pair of boots a year old and they just moved with my foot perfectly. I can’t emphasis enough how there was absolutely no break in with these boots.
I think these truly the best all around boot going. Very comfortable, little to no break in time. The only negative I foresee in regards to these boots is their appearance; they’re beautiful! I’m going to have to muster up the courage at some point, to actually wear these for their intended purpose (heavy field work).
Timberland Pro Valor Review
I love these Timberland Pro Valor Boots, there awesome!!!! they There just what i have been looking for…you can”t beat the comfort, they are truly water proof, and in my line of work!! that”s very important..I will be buying these boots for as long as im in the work force!!! I think these boots have superior comfort for all day wear. They do make my feet sweat sometimes, maybe I lace them too tight, but that’s how I like to wear mine. They’ll keep your feet dry if you’re not stepping in puddles or muddy, drenched grass. Once they soak through, it takes days to dry them out completely. All in all, my feet feel secure and protected in these. I have 2 pairs.
CONCLUSION:
Overall, the choice between the Danner RAT Temperate and the Timberland Pro Valor will depend on your specific needs and preferences. If you require a boot that meets USMC standards or need a more breathable option, then the Danner RAT Temperate may be the better choice. But if you require electrical hazard protection or want a boot with anti-fatigue technology, then the Timberland Pro Valor may be the better option.
