Check out the reviews, videos and tips on the Anderson vs Palmetto AR-15 and you decide if it is good enough for your arsenal.

TIP #1:
anderson-lower-receiverUsually you can pick up a Palmetto lower for about 20% less cost than an Anderson.

Prices range from $139 if you get their weekend deal to $259.

But shop around and check prices as you can pick up one from Brownells or other shops online.

You can also go straight to the dealer or buy one in South Carolina at their business.

TIP #2:
One interesting note about the Anderson AR15 platform is that they say it never requires any lube. The metal is treated with RF85 which is a nano technology that injects calcium into the metal. RF85 is said to reduce friction by 85% and wears with the metal.

TIP #3:
Some shooters are worried about lower quality with the lower price of the Palmetto. I know several guys that use these lowers and have not had any problems. Sure you can pay way more for a high end lower if you have the money – but for most of us that is not an option. Some shooters say “a lower is a lower” and if it is spec then no worry.
