SGPT Top 5 Workout Drink Recommendations

If we are looking at improving our minds and body the first thing we need to look at is what we put into our mouth.

If you eat grade D crap at the convenience store and Bloato burger drive in – you will have Grade D performance in your mind and body.

Get rid of diet cokes and drinks that have no nutritional value.

Make the shift to making the right decision on a good drink to put into your body.

During a workout we need to take in Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s) to help our muscles repair from fatigue.

Try a glass of milk with an extra scoop of protein right after a workout or as a snack between meals.

This is really high grade protein so you will pay a little more but you know that it is good stuff.

Would you put dirty gas in your Lamborghini?

Don’t put dirty protein powder in your well tuned body.

#3 Endurance FUEL during long events
Many endurance athletes have switched from real foods during events and going to a liquid.

Check out Tailwind Nutrition Endurance Fuel as it is go to staple for elite athletes.

Infinit is my go to fuel during long workouts greater than 3 hours.

If I am on the off road bike for a 12 hour day I am drinking Infinit all day long.

In the morning I drink 2 cups of coffee max. No need to get over caffeinated and jittery.

But at the same time you will want something to give you energy so we reach for MST oil.

Just add a tablespoon and mix it up with your coffee.

Use a blender if you like to get a better mix.

We love Laird Hamiltons bulletproof coffee recipe here:

I drink this for lunch and a mid afternoon snack if needed.

You will definitely clean out toxins in your body and it will give you good energy not filled with sugar and caffeine.
