Sheepdog Bystanders Aid Man Trapped in Fiery Crash

Rather than standing to the side and gawking, several bystanders, including military personnel, rushed to the aid of man trapped in his car after it became trapped under a big rig and burst into flames.

Banding together, and using whatever they could—sand, bottled water, dirt, fire extinguishers—the men and women managed to extricate the man from his car.

The passenger suffered severe burns, but will live.

There were other drivers who sustained minor injuries in the crash as well.
