A Navy SEALs Training Tips to Get In Shape – FAST

Is this you? You spent the last 8 months going crazy? BBQ’s, Parties, Eating at Restaurants, Sporting Events a BIG Vacation where you went all out?

Don’t worry. You aren’t alone. A lot of people lost sight of their goals. Got their daily routines thrown off and put on the pounds over the last 2 years.

Now what to do about that spare weight? It’s GO TIME!

Here’s 5 Steps to dropping those extra pounds and they ACTUALLY WORK! 

STEP 1: First Admit You Have Put on the POUNDS! This is the first phase of addressing the issue. You have to step on the scale. See the number. Realize the scale isn’t broken and accept the reality.

Step 2: You need to create a GOAL that is attainable and then you need to create a PLAN (step 3) that realistic.

Goal Setting is crucial here. If you think you are going to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks… Think again. It took you 2 YEARS to put on this weight. Doing some quick math. You gained around .03 Pounds a day… or around 1 pound a month. Your goal can be 10X this easily. So expect to lose 10 pounds in a month.

 

 

Goal: 10 Pounds 1 Month 

Step 3: You Need a PLAN! Fail to Plan… Plan to FAIL! (also remember no plan survives first contact) so be nimble.

Step 4: Stick to the Plan! Making a plan is easy. Sticking to it is hard! Here’s a few tips to getting to your GOAL!

Micro Goals: Break down your week and focus on 1 Step at a Time, 1 Day at a Time and 1 Week at a Time. Every Step, Every Day, Every Week is 1 Week closer to Your GOAL!

Surround yourself with like minded people. You need to be focused and if your crew is drinking beers and eating loaded tater tots you’re not going to get there. Get a crew that will work with you to reach this goal.

Final STEP! NEVER QUIT!
